The July Edit

Summer is in full swing and I couldn't be happier about it.  When the weather warms up, I'm all about easy pieces that make a statement on their own.  Be it a bold floral dress, a round straw bag, or simple denim shorts with embroidery, I like to wear things that can stand on their own which makes for less fuss when putting together an outfit.  Here are pieces I'm craving this month - shop the look below!

01. Poketo Solstice Hat: When summer rolls around, hats aren't just ornamental anymore, I actually need them to shield my face from the sun!  This one with a wide brim is a great shape that you'll have on repeat all summer long.  And my favorite part?  It's packable!

02. Zara Embroidered Mini Dress: I'm all about the easy outfit these days, and dresses are just that.  This one has cute embroidery that will take you from the beach to lunch no sweat.

03. Soludos Indigo Dyed Platforms: I love mudcloth and espadrilles, so the fact that this combines the both is a total win.  Espadrilles are your perfect alternate to sandals in the summer, and the pattern on these is so boho chic I can hardly take it.  The platform gives a little extra height and will elongate your legs without a pesky heel.

04. Surf Shack: As someone who loves the design of 'California' homes, and that nomadic bohemian trend, I knew I had to get Surf Shack, and it didn't disappoint!  The interiors are so inspiring, you'll definitely want to have a look if you love beachy California vibes.

05. Serax Copper Chemistry Glasses: In my mind, you can never have too many amazing glasses at home.  I'm a sucker for anything with copper or brass, and these beauties are sure to take your cocktail skills to the next level.

06. Jenni Kayne Round Market Basket: I'm loving the round bag trend these days, and this gorgeous straw tote is perfect for a chic market bag, or for the pool or beach.

07. Madewell Perfect Jean Short: Light denim is perfect for summer, and the embroidery on these is so on trend right now, making denim just a little more interesting than your usual go-to's.

08. Krewe Orleans Sunglasses: A good pair of sunnies is a summer must, and these rose gold lenses add interest and intrigue without going over the top.

09. Joshua Tree Bandana: I'm a sucker for bandanas and have been amassing quite the collection, but, I've identified a hole - national park bandanas.  Can't believe I overlooked this one, and will be snapping him up stat to add to the collection.

10. Madewell Dawnlight Maxi Dress: These days Madewell is killin it, every time they come out with new arrivals I have such a hard time resisting!  I love the pattern of this dress, its flirty and feminine, and the longer length will ensure you can wear this dress from summer to fall in a chinch.

11. Glossier Invisible Shield Sunscreen: In the hotter months of the year, I'm a no makeup kinda gal.  But, living in LA when the sun is shining year-round, I always make sure I'm wearing SPF on my face.  I'm dying to try out this sunscreen thats a water-based formula that claims to leave your skin with no residue or grease.

12. Seaworthy Qausar Ring: In warm weather, I like to go minimal with jewelry as well and wear simple pieces that make a statement on their own.  This ring does just that, and is unique with it's hollow opening.
