The October Edit

Tuesday, October 10, 2017

This month I'm all about pieces that can transition from late summer to fall seamlessly and easily.  I'm loving incorporating traditionally summer pieces like straw hats and off the shoulder tops in  unexpected hues that work so well in fall.  Interesting details like ruffles, fringe, and embroidery give these staple pieces a fresh look that adds intrigue to your everyday uniform.

01. Janessa Leone Panton Hat: This is a great fresh take on a straw hat - the deep rich color of the straw means this hat will transition well to fall, even in a more summery material.  The emerald leather accent band is also unexpected and stunning.

02. Apiece Apart Neroli Top: I'm still loving the off the shoulder trend and am loving this tiered silhouette of this top in a gorgeous fall olive green.

03. Le Labo Rose 31 Perfume: I was recently introduced to Le Labo and am totally floored by their unique scents!  The rose perfume is sophisticated and has earthy notes to it that balance out the floral nature so well.

04. Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash: I'm really excited to try this body wash from Glossier that claims to cleanse and get rid of dirt while also moisturizing.

05. St. Agni Kai Tie Waist Pantsuit: I'm still a fan of jumpsuits, and this kimono style top is beautiful and flattering for every shape.

06. Madewell Denim Chore Jacket: The chore jacket silhouette is a classic that will be around for years to come.  I have a more traditional blue cotton one, but desperately want to add a denim version to my wardrobe for fall.

07. Dragon Diffusion Bucket Bag: The bucket bag has been in for a while now, but woven leather brings a new twist to an otherwise classic piece, adding interest and intrigue with texture.

08. St. Agni Paris Woven Mule: Everyone should have a great mule in their fall wardrobe, and the texture of these woven leather ones make for a unique addition to any closet.

09. Sandy Hyun Geo Earrings: These statement earrings are sure to stand out with any outfit with great details like the arc shapes and pink fringe.

10. Cuyana Weekender Bag: Finally!  An affordable, classy weekender bag that's ultra chic.  I love the light grey paired with natural leather handles that will only improve with wear.

11. Velvet Jeslyn Pintuck Embroidered Top: Embroidery seems to be here to stay, and I love the beauty in the details that it adds to this swingy top for fall.
